Steven P. Smith

Steven Paul Smith 67, of Flatwoods died Monday, October 13, 2008 at the St. Mary�s Medical Center in Huntington, WV. He was born March 9, 1941 in Ironton, OH a son to the late Paul James and Millie Virginia (Elkins) Smith. Mr. Smith was a retired Conductor from CSX Railroad. He was a dedicated supporter of the Russell High School Band Program. He is survived by one daughter Tammy & Paul Estep of Flatwoods, KY; two sons Dana and Sarah Smith of Nicholasville, KY and Willis and Gwen Smith of Ironton, OH. Additional survivors include five grandchildren, Carmen Smith, Jeremy Boggs, Warren Smith, Jenny Boggs, and Evelyn Smith. Visitation will be from 6-9 pm Thursday at the Preston Family Funeral Home; 3526 State Rt. 5, Ashland, KY. Funeral services will be private with burial following in the Bellefonte Memorial Gardens. The family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of donation to the Ceredo-Kenova Funeral Home.
