Bernard Childers II, 70, of Huntington, WV., husband of Bridget Murphy Childers, passed away on Thursday, august 31, 2017 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday September 5, 2017 at 1:00 pm at the Reger Funeral Chapel by Fr. Dean Borgmeyer. Burial will follow at Springhill Cemetery. Bernard was born on January 20, 1947 in Huntington, WV. the son of the late Surcie Bernard Childers I and Rebadean Chapman Childers. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister: Rebecca Ingels. Bernard was a retired salesman for Coca-Cola In addition to his wife he is survived by his three sons and daughters in law: Bernie (Debbie) Childers, Brian (Rachel) Childers and Patrick Childers. Three daughters and sons in law: Samantha Boggs, Amy (Greg) Foster and bonnie (Mike) Tomasini, nine grandchildren: Danielle, Andrew, Madison, Matthew, Jacob, Collin, Delaney, April and Allison. Three great grandchildren: Sydney, Jackson and Paisley. One brother and sister in law: Earl (Bonnie) Childers and a host dearly loved nieces, nephews, aunts uncles, cousins and friends.
