Susan Kelley-Jarrell

Susan Nichole Kelley-Jarrell, 58, of Proctorville, OH, is now resting with her Lord and Savior as of Sunday, March 23, 2025, after a short battle with cancer. She was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents, a brother, Jackson Lee Kelley, Jr. and several aunts and uncles, including a very special aunt, Freda Mae Bays, and the father of her sons, Charles Steven Jarrell.

She was born February 17, 1967 and is survived by her parents, Jackson and Doris Kelley of Crown City, OH; her brother, Jason (Ellen) Kelley of Bokeelia, FL; her sons, Seth Steven (Megan) Jarrell of Crown City, OH and Lucas Reece Jarrell of Crown City, OH; one very special granddaughter, Elsie Lynn Jarrell; two special cousins, Jacqueline (Michael) Jones of Burlington, OH and Samuel (Melissa) Bays of Ona, WV; her significant other, and his nephew, John Rice and Sully of Huntington, WV; and special friends, Keith Brown, Odell Nelson, Beau Miller, Mike & Erinn Klinger, Susan Frasier, Marc & Whitney Moore, and Eric Burgess.

She graduated from Huntington High School in 1985 and received her BSN and EDS from Marshall University. Her passion was working with children with learning differences. She enjoyed dancing, playing piano and violin, and spending time with her granddaughter. The beach was her happy place; Fort Myers Beach held a special place in her heart. She attended New Beginnings Worship Center in Chesapeake, OH. She also loved bargain shopping and made the best pineapple upside down cake!

Funeral services will be held at Reger Funeral Chapel in Huntington, WV on Thursday, March 27, 2025 at 4pm. Burial will follow in Crockett Cemetery in Wayne, WV. Friends may call from 2pm until service time on Thursday at Reger Funeral Home, Huntington.
