Ted O. Mays

Ted O. Mays, 76, of Huntington,WV passed away Monday, July 27, 2015 at home. He was born March 30, 1939 in Wayne County, WV. He was the son of Lawrence Mays and Opal Ermalee Mays. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Doris Leah Ransbottom Mays, his sons, Teddy Mays, Terry Mays and Steve Wilkes, his uncle Keith Mays and other siblings. He leaves behind to mourn his loss his sons, Todd Mays (Missy Jarrell) and Carl Wilkes. Also surviving are several loving grandchildren and great grandchildren; his sister, Betty Riley (Zim), his brother Jack Mays (Brenda) and other siblings. The family would like to say a special thank you to Betty (Zim) and Jack (Brenda) for all the love and care they gave to Ted over the years. Funeral Services for Ted will be conducted on Thursday July 30, 2015 at Ceredo-Kenova Funeral Home & Cremation Services at 12 noon with Pastor Danny Roberts officiating; the family will receive friends one hour prior to services.
