Teresa Lynn Chidester

Teresa Lynn Chidester went to be with our Lord and Savior on July 12, 2024. Teri was born on April 22, 1959, to Patricia Chapman Hale and the late Charles Franklin Hale Sr..  Teri was a loving wife, daughter, sister, mother, and T.T. to her grandsons. She was a dedicated follower of Christ and a member of Camp Creek Freewill Baptist Church. Teri started singing for the Lord at the young age of ten years old when she sang at Mt. Nebo Gospel Sing. Teri sang with The Mani String Singers and The Hale Family. She was so proud to be singing for God and following his plan for her. She was a selfless leader, always doing anything for anyone she could help. Teri would go out of her way to find someone to talk to about God’s word and pray for them. She was proceeded in death by her beloved husband Dean Chidester who she has missed terribly. She leaves to mourn her son, Jason Chidester (Billie), a daughter, Amanda Williams (Scott), her mother, Patricia Hale, sisters Sandi Perry (Larry), and Sharon Sanchez (Pedro), a brother Charles Hale Jr. (Kim), along with 5 grandsons Charles, Lynex, Waylon, Watson, and Weston who she loved dearly and several very special nephews. We invite you to please join us in celebrating her life on Tuesday, July 16th, at Reger Funeral Home from 5-7pm. Funeral services will be held the following day at Camp Creek Freewill Baptist Church at 11am, followed by a graveside service.
