Thelma Irene Robinson

Thelma Irene Robinson, 90, of Proctorville, Ohio, widow of Alden Clark Robinson, passed away Tuesday August 28, 2012 at St. Mary’s Medical Center, Huntington. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:30 pm Saturday at the Reger Funeral Chapel by Pastor Jerry Chapman. Burial will follow in Oaklawn Cemetery, Huntington. She was born February 8, 1922 in Crum, WV a daughter of the late Isom and Celia Romans. She was a homemaker and a member of Open Door Baptist Church. In addition to her husband and parents, Thelma was also preceded in death by two sons Harry Robinson and Gary Robinson; a daughter Carol Ann Robinson; three brothers Carl, Leonard and Walter Romans and two sisters Verna Copley and Ruth Brown. Survivors include a son and daughter in law Jim and Margaret Robinson of Proctorville, Ohio; grandchildren Dayna Robinson Black, Daniel Clark Robinson, John, Chris, Nicholas, Jerry, Donald and Nicole Robinson; several great grandchildren; a great great grandson; sister Doris Grimm of Proctorville and several nieces and nephews.
