Thelma Louise Nichols

Thelma Louise Nichols 93, of Kenova, WV went to be her Lord on Friday, December 29, 2017 at Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House in Huntington, WV. She was born October 17, 1924 in Kenova WV. to the late Edward Sperry and Ethel (Shannon) Sperry. She was the widow of James R. Nichols. Thelma retired from St. Marys Hospital as a pediatric nurse and after retirement worked for Dr. Farooq Siddiqi. She is preceded in death by her by her six brothers; Edward Sperry Jr., Jay Sperry, Richard Sperry, Phillip G. Sperry, James E. Sperry and Baby boy Sperry; her sisters, Charlotte Sperry and Veronica Chaney. Thelma is survived by her daughter, Jean Nixon (Tom); sisters, Genevieve Thompson, Joyce Copley, and Rita Myers; one brother, Doug Sperry; grandchildren, Sandra McKeand (Keith), Thomas A. Nixon; great-grandchildren, Chelsea Evans (Tyler), Chase Nixon; a great-great grandchild due to arrive in April. Also surviving is a sister in law, Alice Sperry and brother in law, Norman Chaney. Funeral services will be held at 1 P.M. Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at Ceredo-Kenova Funeral Home .Family will welcome friends at 12 noon. Burial will follow at Spring Valley Memory Gardens.
