Thelma Louise Slayton

Thelma Louise Slayton, 87 of South Point, OH walked through Heaven�s Gate to be with the Lord on November 27, 2012. A resident of River�s Bend Nursing Home, she was born on September 03, 1925, in Huntington, WV. She is the daughter of the late Delbert Adkins and Gladys (Gifford) Adkins. Preceded in death by her husband, Charles Slayton, a son of Michael Slayton, a daughter Susan Gillenwater, and a sister Iris (Ernest) Basenback. She leaves behind her children Kay Miller, Gary (Beverly) Slayton, Donna Vickers, Carolyn Gorman, Beverly Kelly and her siblings Virgil (Ella) Adkins, Rosetta Barbour, Delbert (Joy) Adkins, Samuel (Louise) Adkins, Anise Berry, daughter-in-law Vertia Slayton and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Graveside services will be on Thursday, November 29, 2012 at 2:00 PM at Dock�s Creek Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Ceredo-Kenova Funeral Home.
