Thomas Albert Via Jr.

Thomas Albert Via, Jr., 47, of Huntington, died Saturday, November 4, 2017 at ST. Mary's Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted at 7 pm on Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at the Reger Funeral Chapel by Rev. Tim Porter. Thomas was born on July 29, 1970 in Baltimore, MD to Barbara Tischnell Via and the late Thomas Albert Via, Sr. Thomas graduated from Barboursville High School in 1988. He then attended Marshall University for 7 years, from 1989-1996. He worked for Coffee, Tea & Thee and then Fiesta Bravo, before he was a supervising manager for Infocision Managament Corporation, where he worked for the last 17 years. He also helped co-found Jenny Via's One-HappyTail At A Time/ViaWay Rescue Rides in 2012 to the present. In addition to his father he was preceded in death by a baby sister, Gwen Via. In addition to his mother he is survived by his wife, Jennifer Stewart Via, whom he married on June 27, 2001; his stepson, Levi Smith; his sister, Cindy (Carter) Moreland; and a host of family and friends. Friends may call from 6-8 pm on Monday, November 13, 2017 at the Reger Funeral Home or from 5 pm until service time on Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at the Reger Funeral Home.
