Thomas Edmond Newton

Thomas Edmond �Newt� Newton, 72, of Chesapeake died Friday, June 1, 2011 at the St. Mary�s Medical Center. He was born May 5, 1940 in Huntington to the late Tom and Mary Marie (McKenzie) Newton. He united in marriage to Sally N. (Lowe) Newton who survives. Mr. Newton retired from ACF Industries. In addition to his wife, he is survived by five children, Thomas E. Newton Jr., Doris Marie Gibson, Victoria Lee Maynard, Dennis Allen Newton, David Earl Newton; six brothers and sisters, Patricia Warden, Larry �Corky� Newton, Robert Allen Newton, Faye Minor, Janice Sue Hensley, Kenneth Lee Newton. Additional survivors twelve grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and a special grandchild Tasha Marie Newton along with a host of other relatives and friends. Graveside services will be conducted 11am Monday, June 4, 2012 at the Spring Valley Memory Gardens with Pastor Jamie Bailey officiating.
