Thomas Eugene Spence Sr.

Thomas Eugene Spence Sr., 78, of Huntington, W. Va., passed away Tuesday, May 14, 2013, at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. Graveside services will be conducted at 1:00 pm Friday at Docks Creek Cemetery, Kenova, WV by Rev. Charlie Norris. Burial will follow. He was born September 27, 1934 in Logan County, W. Va. a son of the late Lucian and Nellie Harmon Spence. He was a machine operator with National Steel Products and Nulls Machine Shop. He was a member of the United Freewill Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife of sixty years Peggy Lou Spence, two sons and daughters-in-law Thomas E. Spence, Jr. and his wife Dreama, Timothy and Debra Spence, two daughters and a son-in-law Sandra and Andy Estep and Teresa Caldwell, seven grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, a great great grandson, a brother and sister in law: James and Debbie Spence, a sister and brother in law: Stella Mae and Richard Pelfrey and several nieces and nephews. There will be no visitation or procession to the cemetery. Reger Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
