Thomas W. Cotton, 71, of Kenova passed away Wednesday, March 1, 2006 at St. Mary�s Medical Center. He was born July 20, 1935 in Mt. Holley, NJ to the late Harry and Martha King Cotton. Mr. Cotton was a retired cook with the US Navy having served in the Vietnam War and the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the Disabled American Veterans Post 52 of Kenova, AMVETS Post 14 of Kenova, American Legion Post 93 of Kenova, and VFW Post 8429 of Ceredo. Survivors include three brothers; Jim, Maurice, and Ernest Cotton and two sisters; Rose Rezzetti and Clara Bright. Additional survivors include two nephews; Emery Ward Jr. and Ernie Ward and four nieces; Mary Perry, Phyllis Perry, Sarah Watts, and Nolda Robertson. Funeral services will be conducted at 2pm Sunday at the Ceredo-Kenova Funeral Home with Rev. Eddie Hay officiating. Burial will follow in the Hillcrest Cemetery. Military graveside rites will be performed by the American Legion Post 93. AMVETS Post 14 will be serving the family as Pallbearers. Visitation will be from 6-8pm Saturday at the funeral home.
