Tillie Jean Hughey

Tillie Jean Hughey, 88, of Huntington, passed away Wednesday February 24, 2016 at her daughter's residence in Cocoa, Fla. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 pm Wednesday at the Reger Funeral Chapel by Pastor Brady Lipscomb. Entombment will follow in Docks Creek Cemetery, Kenova, WV. She was born September 12, 1927 in Clay County, WV, a daughter of the late Walter and Eliza Jane Lyons Boothe. She was a homemaker and a caregiver. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband Arthur “Bud” Hughey; brother Homer and sisters Goldie, Margie, Juanita, Lola and Lula. Survivors include two sons Tom Hughey of Cocoa, Fla. and Mike and Dallas Hughey of Merritt Island, Fla. and two daughters and sons in law Sandy and Butch Kelly of Cocoa, Fla. and Tammy and John Thompson of Huntington, WV; grandchildren Sean Kelly, Jeff Kelly, Michael Hughey, Matt Hughey, Trey Thompson and Trevor Thompson; great grandchildren Kami, Elle, Kasie and Josh; great great grandchildren Madison, Brianna and Mikey and a host of friends.
