Timothy "Tim" Ivan Morris

On March 6, 2022, Timothy Ivan Morris (Tim) died at St. Mary's Medical Center in Huntington, West Virginia. Tim is survived by his daughter, Julie, his grandsons, Cameron and Dylan and siblings, Randy (Elisa) Morris, Chris (Shannon) Morris and Bruce (Angela) Morris. He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Eleanor Morris and brother Gary Morris. Tim also had a host of nieces and nephews. Tim was born on April 16, 1949, in Madison, Wisconsin. He graduated from St. Charles High School in 1967. He enlisted in the US Air Force where he graduated with honors in 1970 at Sheppard AFB, Texas for Air Force Turboprop Aircraft Mechanics. He was assigned to Little Rock Arkansas' 64th Tactical Airlift Wing, which provided combat units with air support of US ground forces during the Vietnam War. Tim enjoyed working on old cars, reading and researching and learning. He had many hobbies throughout his adulthood including model classic cars, model trains, watercraft and woodworking. Tim was a quiet man with a very contagious laughter. He loved his family and the Lord. A small memorial service for Tim will be held on April 15, 2022 at 10 am at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Northeast, Greenup County, Kentucky, for family and friends.
