Trudy Stewart

Gertrude Loene "Trudy" Stewart, 79 of Huntington,WV, wife of Samuel Stewart, passed away on Thursday, May 9, 2024, at Cabell Huntington Hospital.  Funeral services will  be conducted on Wednesday, May 15, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at the Reger Funeral Chapel, Huntington.   Burial will follow in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville, WV.  She was born on July 11, 1944, in Huntington,W.Va., the daughter of the late Carl and Beatrice Dempsey Conway.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Diana Marie Stewart, and infant brother, sister Peggy McFeely and her in-laws, Carl and Mabel Shafer.  She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Samuel, two sisters-in-law and two brothers-in-law and a host of nieces and nephews.  She retired from State Electric and was a 1963 graduate of Vinson High School.  Friends  may call from 12:00 p.m. until service time at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 15, 2024 at the Reger Funeral Home, Huntington.  Online condolences may be made to the family at www.regerfh.com.
