Vera Marjorie Deyoung Wall

Vera Marjorie DeYoung Wall, 92, of Huntington, passed away Saturday October 11, 2014 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House of Huntington. She was born July 13, 1922 in Scottsville, Virginia, a daughter of the late Clarence Wingo and Mary Isabell Marshall Kidd. She was a homemaker. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband Jerry William DeYoung, her second husband James Campbell Wall; a son William Marshall DeYoung; brother Thurston Kidd and two sisters Jane Duncan and Bernice Brown. Survivors include a son James Alan DeYoung; two daughters and sons in law Joyce Ann and Steve Damron and Janet Lee and Jim Pullinger; four grandchildren Chris Pullinger, Jennifer Pullinger, Lori Patterson and Mark Damron; four great grandchildren Alex Patterson, Ryan Patterson, Kaitlyn Damron and Sean Damron and a sister Clara McKenny. The family would like to extend a heartfelt “thank you” to the staffs at Madison Park Nursing Home and the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House of Huntington. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Central Christian Church or the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House of Huntington. Funeral services will be private for the family.
