Vernon Reece Clagg

Vernon Reece Clagg, 64, of Proctorville, Ohio passed away on Saturday, March11, 2023 at St. Mary's Medical Center.

Funeral service will be conducted on Thursday, March 16, 2023 at 2:00pm at the Reger Funeral Chapel, Huntington, by Pastor Ron Henderson. Burial will follow at Woodmere Memorial Park.  He was born on May 1, 1958 in Huntington, WV, the son of the late Kenneth and Margaret White Clagg.  He was a Veteran Representative for the State of WV, a veteran of the US Air Force, graduate of South Point High School in 1976 and a graduate of Ohio University in 1999.  He was an avid Ohio State and Cleveland Brown fan, loved MOPAR, and loved to go fast.  He is survived by his wife of 44 years Terry Harris Clagg; son and daughter in law  Raymond Todd and Lara Clagg; daughter and son in law Amy and Seth Damron; grandchildren Emily Clagg and Addelynn and Cole Damron;  brothers and sisters in law Danny and Sharon Clagg and Charles "Chuck" and Robin Clagg, several nieces and nephews and his four legged friend Buddy.  His visitation will be from 12-2 pm Thursday March 16, 2023 at the Reger Funeral Home, Huntington.  Online condolences may be made to the family at www.regerfh.com.
