Vickie Gail Lancaster

Vickie Gail Lancaster, 61, of Huntington, wife of Samuel Lancaster, passed away Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at Cabell Huntington Hospital.  Funeral services will be conducted at noon Friday at the Spring Valley Freedom Baptist Church by Pastor Patrick Elliott.  Burial will follow in Spring Valley Memory  Gardens.  She was born April 6, 1957 in Huntington, WV, a daughter of Robert C. and Rita Swaim Allen.  Vickie was the director of Clinical Education at Cabell Huntington Hospital and was also a devoted Pediatric Nurse.  She was a member of the Spring Valley Freedom Baptist Church and had a passion for singing in the church choir.  Additional survivors include three sons and a daughter in law, Samuel Lancaster, II, Ryan Lancaster and Aaron (Ashley) Lancaster and a brother and sister in law Robert (Sharon) Allen, Jr.  Friends may call from 6 to 8 pm Thursday at the Spring Valley Freedom Baptist Church and from 11 am until service time on Friday at the church.  In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Cabell Huntington Hospital Foundation, attention Hoops Family Childrens Hospital, 1340 Hal Greer Blvd., Huntington, WV 25701.  Reger Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.  Condolences may be made to the family at www.regerfh.com .
