Wanda Lorraine Skeens

Wanda L Skeens, 73, of Kenova went home to be with the Lord on November 27, 2008. She was born June 17, 1935 to the late William and Elva (Abrams) Holland. She was also preceded in death by brothers Jack, Bud, and Sherman Holland and sister Tokie Adkins. Granny was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be greatly missed. She truly loved caring on a daily basis for all of her children and their �babies�. She was an active member of Victory Baptist Church. She volunteered many hours weekly, with the finances and upkeep of the sanctuary. She is survived by her husband of 42 years Charles, children Mike (Karen) Skeens, Jan (Barry) Sullivan, Deborah (Carl) Rowsey, Carla Meadows, Carl �Buck� (Angela) Ward, Diana (Bob) Fudge, grandchildren Jennifer Conley, Jacob Skeens, Ginger and Jamie Sullivan, David Finley, Derrick and Ryan Rowsey, Shelley Hatten, Carla Stoner, Carl Ward, Billy Travis, Stacy and Charles Music, Mikayla Fudge, great-grandchildren Caiden, Peyton, Ashlee, Kimberly, Haven, Gaige, Jordan, McKenzie, Skylar, Jaden, Cassidy, Mason, Paxton, Jacob, Dylan, Emily, Taylar, very special friends Bennie and Shirley Manis and her Victory Baptist Church family. Funeral services for Mrs. Skeens will be 2:00pm Sunday, November 30, 2008 at Ceredo-Kenova Funeral Home with Pastor Dan Preece and Brother Bernie Riggs officiating. Visitation will be Saturday November 29, 2008 from 6:00 � 8:00 pm at Ceredo-Kenova Funeral Home. Expressions of sympathy may take place in the form of donations to Victory Baptist Church. These may be made at the funeral home.
