William Eugene May

William Eugene May, 68, of Ceredo, WV, passed away after an extended illness on Thursday, November 26, 2015 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. He was retiree from Inco Alloy and was a Mason and member of the Crescent Lodge #32 of Ceredo, WV. �Poppy� was born on January 26, 1947 in Huntington, WV to Ostos May and Velma Mae Roach. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ostos and Velma May. He is survived by his beloved brother Sam May; his sister Brenda Napier; his two sons, Eugene and Don (Natalie Ferguson); and his daughter Robin. Also surviving are his grandsons, Robbie and Zane; his step-daughter Stephanie; his step-grandchildren Will and Jordan; and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Poppy enjoyed being cranky, desserts of all kinds, bacon, a good hunting dog and plaid shirts because, just like his song �po grainy rine therbel saben�, it�s good for all occasions! He will be cremated by Tri-State Cremation Society and following cremation, a memorial service for friends and family will be conducted on Saturday, December 5, 2015 from at 3 p.m., with visitation one hour prior at the Ceredo Kenova Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Ceredo, with internment at Crescent Hill Cemetery with full Masonic Rites performed by Crescent Lodge #32.
