William Fred Martin

William Fred Martin, 93 of Ceredo, WV passed away Sunday, December 6, 2015 at Wayne Continuous Nursing and Rehabilitation. He was born September 12, 1922 in Weston, WV a son of the late Fred Lee and Artha Gifford Martin. He was a veteran of WWII and retired from the maintenance dept. of Ashland, Oil. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife Irene R. Helmick Martin and one brother, Burl Martin, two sisters Genevieve Swiger and Beatrice Hardman. Survivors include his wife Jean Sellers Martin, two sons and one daughter-in-law, Burl W. ( Christa) Martin of Chesapeake, OH, James M. Martin of Kenova, WV and two grandchildren, Lisa R. Martin and Derek Martin. There will be no visitation. Burial will be private at a later date in Maple Hill Cemetery, Kenova, WV. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.regerfh.com
