William H. Chaffin

William “Wig” Chaffin 72 of Huntington, WV went to be with the Lord on September 2, 2015 at the Emogene Dolin Hospice House. Funeral services will be conducted at Noon Friday at the Reger Funeral Chapel by Pastor Don Napier and Pastor Leo Maynard. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Huntington. William was born on March 5, 1943 to Howard and Gladys Prince Chaffin who preceded him in death. Also preceding him in death were his sisters: Goldie Bowen, Josie Chaffin, Sadie Zimmerman and grandson Nathan Runyon. Surviving are his son William Chaffin, Jr., daughter Teresa Runyon (Mike) brother James D. Chaffin (Brenda), sisters : Mary Napier, Earnestine “Tina” Walls, grandsons: Curtis, Tyler and Quake Runyon. William leaves behind a host of friends and family who will miss him dearly, especially his dogs, “Wigs” and “Mikes”. William was a member of Philadelphia United Baptist Church of Lavalette, WV. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. Friday until service time at noon. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House of Huntington.
