William Howard Carver

William Howard Carver, 84 of Ceredo passed away February 4, 2013 at his home. He was born on April 04, 1928 in Ceredo, WV to Alva and Josephine Jarrell Carver. He served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Upon his return, he joined the National Guard at Spring Valley. He was preceded in death by his wife Mary Elizabeth Carver and his son Jimmy L. Carver, two sisters; Maxine Akers and Bertha Pyles, and one brother Vernon Carver. He leaves behind one daughter, Ramona (David) Mullet of Charlotte, NC, one Granddaughter, Christina Madden and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral Services will be conducted Thursday, February 7th at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Larry Mullins officiating. Burial will follow at Dock�s Creek Cemetery in Kenova, WV with full Military Honors by American Legion Post 93 Kenova, WV. The visitation will be on Wednesday, February 6th from 6 to 8 pm at Ceredo-Kenova Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Ceredo, WV.
