William Jefferson Roberts

William (WJ) Jefferson Roberts,86, of Huntington,WV passed away on Sunday, May 26, 2024 after an extended illness.

Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday May 30, 2024 at 1:00pm at the Reger Funeral Chapel, Huntington, WV.

WJ was born March 12, 1938 in Huntington, WV, the son of William McKinley and Inez Snell Roberts.

In addition to his parents he was preceded by two brothers,  Daniel Roberts and Norman Roberts and three sisters, Evelyn Sgro, Maxine Mylar and June Kingery.

He proudly served his country in the United States Army.

WJ is survived by his brother Charles Roberts(Grace) of Huntington WV, his son, Scott Roberts(Nina) of Huntington, WV;  four grandchildren, Mikal Blankenship, Zander Roberts, Zayne Roberts and Eva Roberts all of Huntington, WV; his caregiver, Connie Roberts of Crown City, OH and several nieces and nephews.

WJ was an avid coin collector and loved cars.

Friends may call from 12:00pm until service time Thursday, May 30, 2024 at the Reger Funeral Home, Huntington.
