William Monroe Conn

William Monroe Conn, 70, of Ceredo, died Tuesday, August 23, 2011 at the Huntington Health and Rehabilitation Center. He was born August 26, 1940 in Portsmouth, OH to the late Roy Shelton and Lona Louise (Moore) Conn. Mr. Conn proudly served his Country in the United States Navy. He united in marriage to Brenda (Hensley) Conn who preceded him in death. Mr. Conn is survived by three children, William Randall (Rita) of Columbus, OH; Veronica (Chad) Dauffenbach of Albert Lee, MN; and Brian (Kristy) Conn of Dallas, TX. Additional survivors include 4 sisters, 2 brothers, 7 grandchildren, and 3 Great-grandchildren along with a host of other relatives and friends. In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. Conn was also preceded in death by 1 brother. Funeral services will be conducted at 11am Friday at the Ceredo-Kenova Funeral Home with Minister Joe Pratt officiating. Burial will follow in the Crescent Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3-5 & 6-8 Thursday at the funeral home.
