William Randolph

William G. Randolph, Bill Schlossberg, passed on August 19, 2024 at St. Mary’s Hospital where he was born on March 8,1945. He was the son of Sonny Schlossberg and Betty Schlossberg, Taylor. He is survived by his sister, Judy Schlossberg of Fairfax, Ca and his cousin, Becky Davis of Raleigh, NC.

Bill attended Meadows School, Cammack Junior High, and Huntington High. He graduate from Wake Forest University in 1967 where he was a member of Kappa Sigma Fraternity. Later went to Miami University in Oxford, Ohio to get his teaching credential. He moved to Germany and taught school in an army school for many years. He was a First Lieutenant in the Army.

Bill moved back to Huntington in the 90’s where he was an avid Tennis player. He loved teaching tennis to children and adults.

The dog park in Ritter Park was one of his favorite hang outs where he met old and new friends.

He will be buried in Donel C. Kinnard Memorial State Veterans Cemetery.
