Wilma Jean Rickman, 75, of Huntington, passed away Wednesday October 16, 2013 at her residence. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 pm Monday at the Reger Funeral Chapel by Rev. Tom Nolan. Entombment will follow in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville. She was born June 25, 1938 in Huntington, WV, a daughter of the late Ewell F. and Elizabeth Willis Shuff. Wilma was a 1956 graduate of Huntington High School and a former employee of Owens-Illinois Glass Company for 20 years. She was a member of the Westmoreland Methodist Church, Past President of the Westmoreland's Woman's Club, historian and other offices. Wilma was also past historian and Chaplain of the American Legion Post 16, Auxiliary of Huntington, as well holding the same offices with the American Legion Posts 8 and 40 and was a member of the Howard P. Hall VFW Post 1064 of Huntington. She was a past member of the Rotary Ann, active in the Tri-State Fire School Committees. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her son Jack 'Wayne' Rickman; sister Phyllis Shuff Murphy and brother Ewell E. Shuff. Survivors include her husband of 58 years Clyde 'Jack' Rickman; grandchildren 'Eric' Wayne Rickman and 'Sara' S. Rickman Johnson and six great grandchildren. Friends may call from 5 pm until 7 pm Sunday at the Reger Funeral Home.
