Winfield Chester Adkins

Winfield Chester Adkins, 82, of Ceredo, WV passed away on Saturday, October 23rd, 2010. He was born May 19, 1928 in Lincoln County, WV. Chester was retired from Lowess Hardware Store and an active member of Upper Ten Mile Baptist Church. He enjoyed playing dominos, outdoor walks with his wife and spending time with his family. Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday October 27, 2010 at 11:00 am at the Reger Funeral Chapel with Rev. Doug Ramey. Burial will follow at Warrick Cemetery, Lincoln County He was precede in death by his wife June Dyer and son Jackie Adkins He is survived by his current wife Allie Mae Adkins, one daughter and so in law: Judy and Glenn Hutchinson, three sons and daughters in law; Dallas and Brenda Adkins, Jerry and Lynn Adkins, and Billy and Kelly Adkins; daughter in law Karen and Mark Johnson. Three stepchildren: Jim and Nida Yarber, Mary Ann Sheppard, and Donnie and Tina Marks, five brothers , two sisters, ten grandchildren and one great grandchild.
